Apator Group attends record-breaking E-world trade fair
This year's E-world, Europe's leading energy trade fair held in Essen, was a record-breaking one indeed. A total of 923 exhibitors from 30 countries showcased their energy solutions of the future to as many as 30,000 visitors. The Apator Group presented a full range of metering solutions (devices and systems) and switchgear in Essen. Customers and visitors alike found our stand appealing, both in terms of the design and the materials used.
The trade fair demonstrates the continued growth of energy companies, which are prioritising renewable energy and flexible reading, metering and management systems, as well as exploring opportunities for using artificial intelligence. An increasing complexity of solutions for managing different media is also required, which is undoubtedly our advantage as a Group. With representatives from all segments gathered in Essen, we were able to hold discussions showcasing Apator's comprehensive competencies and integrating our many areas of operation.
The fair also featured a forum called "European Perspectives on Smart Metering" prepared by ESMIG (European Association of Smart Energy Solution Providers, of which we are a member). During the meeting, our expert spoke about the benefits and risks of smart metering and argued that a prerequisite for energy network security is to ensure a secure value chain and, therefore, to rely on trusted and verified European technology companies.
