Apator SA operates as a reputable manufacturer of metering equipment and systems, as well as solutions for automation of power grid operation, holding a leading position in Poland and selected European markets. Within its three specialized business segments (Electricity, Water and Heat, and Gas), it provides the market with technologically advanced products and services, including smart solutions and systems for managing energy utility distribution networks. Targeted mainly at the utilities sector, the Group is expanding its metering and utility management offerings to an additional group of customers including industry, small and medium-sized businesses, and municipalities and cities. The Group's portfolio includes new technologies related to further grid automation, energy storage and the development of electromobility.
- A key task facing the company's Management Board is to continue business development in response to the transformational challenges of the energy utilities sector. A few years ago, we took steps to change our offering toward comprehensive utility management, strengthen the role of system solutions in our portfolio, and capitalize on opportunities related to the development of RES – says Janusz Niedźwiecki, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and shareholder of Apator SA. - In recent years, the business has faced enormous challenges that have left their mark on our operations, including the profitability of the Apator Group. We hope that the competence and many years of experience of Mr. Maciej Wyczesany will allow the Group to regain its potential to generate satisfactory profits through the aforementioned development of its offer, as well as through the reorganization and further integration of operational processes in the Group. At the same time, on behalf of the Supervisory Board and the team of the Apator Group, I would like to thank the current President of the Company, Arek Chmielewski, for his long-term commitment to the development of the Apator Group, especially for achieving significant successes of Apator Metrix.
- My previous work experience was in industrial companies that cyclically had to adapt their strategy to changing trends. This is also how I see the Apator Group, which has to face the changes taking place in the energy utilities market and, above all, turn them into opportunities for further development. Transformation processes in industrial companies are often demanding and time-consuming, but I am convinced that my experience and ideas in the field of offer development, foreign expansion and process optimization, combined with the competence of the Apator Group team, will bring the expected results – says Maciej Wyczesany. - I see as my main tasks continuation of activities aimed at increasing the Group's profitability and further expansion in foreign markets based on smart metering solutions.
